Getting hair off a couch, a car and black jeans
Rubber drags hair into a rope. Use that.
Pet hair weaves into fabric and grips it. Sticky rollers lift the top layer and leave the rest. Rubber and silicone pull it out, because drag gathers the hairs together into a line you can pick up.
Couch and cushions
Put the glove on and stroke the fabric in one direction. Damp rubber grips better than dry.
Car seats and carpet
Pull the silicone comb toward you in short, firm strokes. The hair bunches at the edge of the blade.
Clothes
Run hairy clothes through the dryer on a warm setting for ten minutes before you wash them. The loose hair ends up in the lint trap instead of the washing machine. A laundry scientist warns the no-heat version of this trick mostly doesn't work.
